Keith’s Quick Bites Review – Cisk, The Beer of Malta

Utter the words “beer” and “Malta” in the same sentence and I visualise an ice-cold bottle of Cisk with the beautiful St Paul’s Bay, as the backdrop. Made on the island by Simonds Farsons Brewery, it’s a light, hoppy and refreshing lager with a golden colour that leaves a very pleasant aftertaste. It’s my personal favourite and I’ve yet to find a beer that is as utterly perfect, ideal served with Maltese treats like ftira and pastizzi.

Would you recommend it Keith? – Of course, as long as you enjoy decent beer!! It’s a quirky choice for a dinner party and similar to Estrella beer. 5/5
